Interested in printmaking?

Get your hands dirty and unleash your creativity at our screenprinting workshop—where YOU make the art! Attendees will produce bold, tabloid-sized posters for the Visiting Artist Lecture Series!

Whether you’re a total beginner or a printing pro, this hands-on event will provide a fun experience and an excellent opportunity to meet like-minded peers and professionals. One to two printing stations will be set up, and participants will get to pull ink across pre-burned screens—creating a poster by YOU!

Come print, hang out, and show off your own handmade piece.

Space is limited, RSVP soon!!

The 2025-26 Visiting Artist Lecture series is presented by the Department of Art at Rice University, with series support from the Department of Art History and the MFAH Glassell School of Art Core Program, with lecture support from the Rice School of Architecture, the Department of English and Creative Writing, and the Center for the Study of Women, Gender, and Sexuality.
