The Rice Players Present: Yukon Breakfast

About the Event

A modern-day take on Mary Shelley’s classic Frankenstein, this play examines what it means to be human, especially in regards to the relationships we forge. What if someone created Frankenstein today, way out in the Alaskan wilderness? What would they do? How would people react to them?

Yukon Breakfast is written by Matthew Pittard, Rice University class of 2018, and won the 2018 Rice Players Playwriting Competition. Performances will be at 8 pm November 15th through November 17th in Hamman Hall at Rice University, with a talkback and reception after the first performance on Thursday, November 15th. Yukon Breakfast is directed by Nonie Hillard, Rice class of 2019. Tickets are free and do not need to be reserved prior to attending.
