About the Event

Shepherd School Chamber Players

The recently conceived Shepherd School Chamber Players continues this semester with performances on Friday, February 1, 2019. This unique initiative features the Shepherd School Chamber Orchestra arranged in smaller chamber ensembles of six or more musicians in a new format comprised of three consecutive, hour-long concerts interspersed with audience receptions. These performances are free and open to the public. No tickets required.

The Shepherd School is the only American educational institution to devote four weeks of each semester to preparing such a program, affording our students the opportunity to finely tune repertoire not typically explored in a chamber orchestra setting.
