About the Event
Join the Moody, the MFAH’s Core residency program, and artist Clarissa Tossin to celebrate the newest installation of the Off the Wall series at the Brochstein Pavilion.
Tossin’s site-specific installation The 8th Continent engages with concepts of colonization and consists of tapestries inspired by lunar images from NASA identifying territory on the Moon to be excavated for ice deposits. This free, in-person event includes an introduction by the artist.
This program is made possible through Rice University’s Housing and Dining department and the generosity of Raymond and Susan Brochstein, Deborah Brochstein, and Steven Hecht.
