Created specifically for the Lois Chiles Theater at the Moody Center for the Arts, Among Rivers is an approximately 45-minute multi-media performance featuring four actors, seven video projectors and twenty-eight channels of audio. The performers use ancient means to generate sounds that are then mediated by computer technology and set in relation to moving images projected on the walls and floor. We are placed in the midst of watery surfaces and resonances that at once evoke the eternal and reintroduce us to the sensual presence of the moment.
