PARKING for REGISTERED attendees at Parking Lot 5 on the Rice Campus
9AM to 10AM – Coffee and pastries in the Dean’s Common at Anderson-Clarke Center
10AM – Introductions and opening remarks at Hudspeth Auditorium
10:30AM to 11:45 AM – Presentation by artist Sue Coe, followed by Q&A
11:45AM to 1PM – Box lunch for registered teachers
1PM to 4:30PM – rotate between three events at Sarofim Hall, Rice University:
**NOTE** Sarofim Hall is SO NEW that it doesn’t appear on Google Maps yet. But it’s there! Trust us, you can’t miss it!
A: Risograph workshop – Room 344, Third Floor, Sarofim Hall
B: Comics Making Workshop – Room 320, Third Floor, Sarofim Hall
C: Tour of facilities Sarofim / Moody Center, ending in gallery talk at the Moody — meet in the Crit Space, Third Floor Sarofim Hall
5PM – Exhibition reception at the Comic Art Teaching and Study Workshop, Room, 343, 3rd Floor Sarofim Hall
6PM – Rice Cinema, Sarofim Hall. A short film followed by lightning round (5-minutes or less each) of a select number teacher presentations.
7PM – Closing remarks. Door prize of Sue Coe print to one lucky person.
