There will be a small reception at in the breezeway of Sarofim Hall (2nd floor) before the screening.
Rice students can attend screenings at Rice Cinema for free, and receive a 50% discount for screenings at other participating venues by emailing a photo of their Rice ID to boxoffice@cinemahtx.org or showing it in person at the screening.
Followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
The festival concludes with the 12th annual CineSpace short film competition, presented in collaboration with NASA. This unique competition invites international filmmakers to create films using imagery and footage from NASA’s archives. Winners will be announced and awarded a cash prize during the festival’s closing night. Filmmaker Richard Linklater selects the winning films, alongside a jury from the Houston Cinema Arts Society and NASA.
